Our 100+ Year History
C.H. Petermann founded Petermann Bus Company in 1921 to provide transportation for children with special needs in Cincinnati, Ohio. Along with his Rotary Club, Petermann organized the first education program for children with special needs in the basement of Cincinnati’s General Hospital. Subsequently, he was instrumental in building Condon School, the predecessor to today’s Roselawn-Condon School in Cincinnati’s Roselawn neighborhood.
Today, Petermann transports more than 84,000 students and serves more than 40 school districts across Ohio and Pennsylvania. Petermann is part of the National Express School division, which has a strong record of success and decades of experience in pupil transportation.
