DURHAM PARTNERS WITH CALVARY CHURCH TO ‘FILL THE BUS’ IN SANTA ANA
Durham School Services, a leader in student transportation, partnered with Calvary Church of Santa Ana to collect school supplies for low-income students in the area.
This is the fourth year of Durham’s partnership with Calvary Church and the event collected over 200 backpacks and over $5,000 worth of school supplies. Durham provides a large school bus for the event to house the donated school supplies.
“We are proud to partner with Calvary Church to ensure that Santa Ana students have a successful academic year. We enjoy being part of this community effort each year to demonstrate our partnership with the community and our respect for the students we serve,” said Vivienne Williams, general manager at Durham School Services.
Church members and Santa Ana residents were encouraged to donate to the event.
“Durham has been such a wonderful partner in this effort to provide supplies for students as they head back to school,” said Matt Doan, Calvary Church Community Outreach Pastor. “The goal to fill the entire school bus with supplies has motivated our Church to step up and contribute in such a generous manner. We look forward to other opportunities where we can work with Durham to benefit our local community in the future.”
