DURHAM SCHOOL SERVICES TEAM MEMBER RECEIVES GOLDEN MERIT AWARD

Durham School Services team member Laura Warren, area general manager in Memphis, TN, received the Golden Merit Award by the National School Transportation Association (NSTA).  NSTA’s Golden Merit Award was established in 1969 to recognize school bus employees for their achievements in safety, driver training, business practice, vehicle maintenance and superior service to their school district, community and the student transportation industry.

Warren was recognized for her years of dedication to the student transportation industry and her achievements in safe operations, exceptional service delivery to customers, a strong commitment to employees and communities, and overall excellence in providing safe and reliable student transportation services.

“Throughout her years with us, Laura has consistently gone above and beyond what’s expected of her,” said Tom McBride, Durham’s vice president of operations. “She has played a key role in our recent growth in the Memphis area, and her knowledge of the industry and dedication to safety, people and community are apparent to anyone who meets her.”
